TED SCHRANDT MEMORIAL 4D HORSE BARREL RACE
The family of Ted & Edna Schrandt sponsors the annual Winneshiek County Fair Ted Schrandt Memorial 4D Barrel Race. The Schrandt family has been a very active 4-H family for many generations. Ted & Edna helped start the 4-H horse project and were very active in the saddle club and Pony Express Riders of Iowa. Ted built the Winneshiek County Fair horse arena and the couple were 4-H leaders that volunteered countless hours to better the fair and community. Ted passed away in 2013 and in his honor, the family sponsors the annual fair’s Ted Schrandt Memorial 4D Barrel Race.
